Can this funding be used to place IST clients in hotel rooms while they are receiving services?

Funding may be used to acquire a hotel property or to rehabilitate a hotel property for the purposes of creating IST beds as Supported Transitional Housing, Board and Care, Adult Care Facilities, or a Recovery Residence for IST patients. IST infrastructure funding may NOT be used to pay daily/weekly/monthly room night stays for an existing hotel.

Research and consulting firm Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) provides project management services to DSH for the process of awarding IST Infrastructure funding. Responsibilities include outreach, technical assistance, solicitation, selection, negotiation and contracting.
