In the event that the service contract is not renewed after 5, 10, or 15 years, is there any guidance that can be provided for approved alternate uses for the beds funded under this program?

In the event that DSH is no longer able to contract with a county or provider, DSH will either identify another service provider to continue its use of the facility, or, if the Legislature has terminated DSH community program funding, DSH shall record a termination and release of the deed restriction in the county where the Infrastructure Project(s) is located. After the termination, facility use will be at the county’s discretion.
